- Write a new post in your blog.
- Visit the Yahoo emoticon webpages. ( I wrote about them here.)
- Copy the emoticon you want. Do this by blocking the emoticon (left click and drag) so that the emoticon looks dark blue. Press Ctrl C to copy the emoticon.
- Go to your blog post.
- Put the cursor in the location where the emoticon will be. Press Ctrl V to paste the emoticon.
If you publish your post, you will see the cute emoticons there.
Thank you 4 posting it. I have tried it but what appear in my blog was not the icon but the words. What's wrong??
ReplyDeleteshould be "appeared" hehe..
ReplyDeleteMake sure you block (click & drag) the picture, don't right click and select 'copy image'. If you have copied & pasted the emoticon and it appeared as words, probably it took a few seconds for the emoticon to appear as a picture due to slow connection. While waiting for the picture to load in your blog post, it appeared as a word such as 'laughing'.
ReplyDeleteHave you clicked 'publish' after pasting the emoticon? If it still appears as a word in a published post, I don't know what's wrong and we should solve this problem in the classroom.
Ok, I'll try again, thanks.
ReplyDeleteHurray!!...
ReplyDeleteI've been successful in inserting some emoticons in my post. Thank you, Ms. Raras!
